Hi Comedy Fans!

Welcome to The 4th Annual Hong Kong International Comedy Festival 2010!

Its amazing to see our festival grow every year as we are bringing much more laughter to Hong Kong and putting this great city on the international comedy world map!

Oh what a festival it was last year! Kerri Louise headlined three great shows, we had a Mandarin Chinese Standup Comedy Champion and an unknown comedian named Ashley Strand, who had never been to Asia, flew in from New York City to compete with 30 contestants and won the English HK International Comedy Competition 2009!

The 30 contestants last year represented 16 countries and 5 comedians actually flew in to Hong Kong to compete! This year, we expect to be even more international and competitive as comedians so far from Pakistan, South Korea, The Philippines, Singapore, China and The USA are joining our local comedians to compete for $40,000HK in Cash and the titles of The 4th HK International Comedy Competition Winners 2010!

Along with our competitions, come see the return of Shecky Wong (Comedy Central, Showtime, MTV) headlining and the First One Man English Show from our biggest discovered star, Vivek Mahbubani!

The three biggest comedy festivals in the world are The “Just for Laughs” Montreal Comedy Festival, The Edinburgh Comedy Festival and The Melbourne International Comedy Festival. We hope to one day be mentioned in the same breath as these great events.

At this rate, the future looks good.
